I read about keybinding precedence in Kyles' article:

Based on what you said it sounds like there are simply a lot of
keybindings that happen to have precedence over said desired
keybindings?

Do you think it would be worth the time to create a Windows-specific
keybinding that had everything bound in an non-conflicting manner? I
am interested in doing this but I'm not quite sure anyone else is
particularly interested in something like this.

Window split and collapse and navigation combined with rep and editor
show/hide are real gems that make the IDE more pleasurable to use.
