[plt-scheme] Problem fetching a URL

I was amused that in using gmail to click on that link, Google first
generates a URL like
  http://mail.google.com/mail/?view=page&name=js&ver=16bmm2i8sq66p
which internally translates in some manner to the one above.

The ampersands in that URL made me laugh.
