Sure. Most web-sites for normal users doesn't state what server
they use, so it isn't strange there are sites you are unaware of.

Besides a combination of Apache and PLT is also possible, so
even though a given site claim it is using Apache, it is
possible that the result was generated behind the scenes
by a PLT Server.

Our school has used a PLT Server for our internal web-page
for years.
