Openssl uses a BSD-with-advertising licence, which causes well-known
problems for free software wishing to use it. GNU TLS has an emulation
and is available at http://www.gnu.org/software/gnutls/ or your local
mirror. It is under the LGPL, the same as PLT scheme, so shouldn't
cause anyone licence problems. I suggest using it instead.
