[CS241] assertion failure in strip

Hi, has anyone tried the new file?
The assertion is gone but the program would stop somewhere randomly in
the read function, after about 2 to 3 hours running.
It's like some kind of seg fault without any assertion or error message
printed out before it's dead.
Any ideas?
