[CI] Initial pass at new intro

Guys,

I am working on getting the camera ready done on the Oracle
paper.  The extension was good news / bad news.  There are
lots of changes and lots of authors, so it is not converging as fast
as I would like.  I am hoping that we will be done early evening,
so I will be able to read the new intro then.  Sorry for the delay.
