  The Rhode Island Amateur FM Repeater Service, Inc., who operates the
146.76, 146.94, 223.76, 443.850, and 447.425 repeaters in Rhode Island,
will hold their annual Fall Flea Market and Auction at the VFW Post
6342, Main Street , Forestdale ( No. Smithfield), RI on Saturday
September 20, 2008.

  Take the Forestdale exit off of Route 146 in No. Smithfield, take a
left at the end of the ramp and go six tenths of a mile to the Post
on your right just before the Village Haven Restaurant. Please
observe parking instructions.

  Flea market opens at about 8:00 AM and spaces are $5.00 each. Some
spaces are available under the pavilion on a first come first served
basis. Auction begins at 11:00 AM until about 2:00 PM. Auction begins

are all available.

Hi Everybody,

  As most of you already know, the RIAFMRS "76 Auction" will be next 
Saturday morning.  Due to road construction, the directions to get there 
have changed slightly.

  From Rt. 146 North:

* Take the exit toward RI-5/Forestdale/RI-102/Slatersville  0.2 mi

* Merge onto School St (signs for RI-5/Woonsocket/RI-102)  299 ft

*  Turn left at Great Rd/RI-146A Continue to follow RI-146A  0.7 mi

*  Turn left at Green St  0.5 mi

*  Sharp left at School St.  0.6 mi

*  98 School St., Slatersville, RI 02876

Subject: [76] 146.940 Cumberland Repeater is Back On Air!

 Hi All,

  The RIAFMRS is pleased to announce that the 146.940 repeater is back 
on air from the Cumberland site.  The repeater is now sporting a 67.0 Hz 
PL tone, which is required to access the machine.
  In the near future we plan to have the "94" machine linked back into 
the RIAFMRS network, which will include the 447.425 Scituate and 443.850 
repeaters in Exeter.
