Directions by Car
The Computer Science Department is located at 115 Waterman Street, Providence, Rhode Island.
From I-95 South
- Take Exit 20 onto 195 East (Cape Cod).
- Take Exit 2 to WICKENDEN Street.
- Turn LEFT at the light on to WICKENDEN and LEFT at the 2nd light on to BROOK St.
- Continue on Brook for several blocks to a traffic light.
- Our red brick building is on your left.
- The front of our building is on the other side, facing a quadrangle.
- Computer Science is on the 4th floor.
From I-95 North
- Take Exit 19 onto 195 East (Cape Cod).
- Take Exit 2 to INDIA Street.
- Turn LEFT onto GANO Street.
- Follow the directions from GANO Street, below.
From I-195 West
- Take the GANO St. exit and turn RIGHT at the end of the ramp.
- Follow the directions from GANO Street, below.
From GANO Street
- At the 3rd light, turn LEFT on ANGELL St.
- Continue for several blocks to the 2nd light at BROOK and turn LEFT.
- Our red brick building is opposite the light on the left corner.
- The front of our building is on the other side, facing a quadrangle.
- Computer Science is on the 4th floor
Parking
Brown has just opened a Visitor Parking Lot right across from the CIT on Brook Street. This lot is serviced by two Pay and Display stations, one which is at the entrance on Brook Street. The Pay Stations accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), U.S. coins and U.S. bills. Please note the pay stations do not give change. A detailed map of the University can help pinpoint the area.
